Befriended a noble soul -
A radiant ghost
working my nights
repairing stone walls
of a broken cemetery
shrouded in silence
Humming long
the naked ruins;
I gossiped whole night
about the village square
about the streets
consuming my past reserves
Years of disintegration
Worked
better on me
Sailing untouched
the priest hymn, and
religion of the masses
Alone, I befriended
the ghosts
of my village
Rich with winged glowworms
All verdant
luminescent of cold bodies
