FAITH AND LOVINGNESS

You take a breath

warm of deep thoughts

searching your own within 

I look askance

at your sagging skin 

holding my breath, tight

towards your age -

We're you not 

the one, that

used to

take me by my hands

in the past as your child

and 

lovingly would envelope me

by your warmth 

soothing my heart and mind

What pales you now

to search your within

Were I not the one -

You remember;

The one that still guard you age

reciprocating my love to you, Mother!
