TREASURE-SAFE

When it demands, to
Keep the treasure safe
It is pain, I hold to safety

Roll me up with
Thy vagrant ache
Curling my heart

I hid more water
To my eyes, than
Any ocean can pretend

Down the creaky corner
Where the time rusts
Gleams a twitch dim of light

The heart throbs
Marching down, deep
The crater of pain

Wailing, dried the sounds out
As I closed the lid
From theft and robbery!
