LANTERN AND INK PEN AT MIDNIGHT

Long and lovely
Earthy dark shadow
Dangle lantern light
From the nose of nib
To the heart of paper

And midnight oil
Does some story
Wick sustaining life
Behind cursive hand
And a tangent head

An array of spectra
Comes folding in
Vibing layers on wall
Peeling the air, in
Lovely aroma so far

Etching noble type
With a blood to bold
I wished a Genie
Could summon hold
The flicker and the flame

Long and lovely
Memory stretch
Crossing the space
To pal my shadow own
There, I do lantern and pen!
