Delude mankind
In matters of religion:
The superstition, the revelation; are
but the mistaken apprehension, that
Design posterity for fear, for submission
to govern in all matters of plural faith
the panacea for all begotten ills:
Here the poor dies and the rich rejoice
Reason, the only oracle
To Offbeat the source, and
pounce on prejudices
that sweat eons of blood and bones
from the mortuary hearth:
The crown and the clown; are
but the layered froth
from the dying humankind, that
revile the captivating moments
that do exercise and improve
The oracle, thy Reason!
